My work over the past three years at university has followed one particular art form, the repeated use of pattern. I have made art using broken pieces of tiles to create mosaics. My most recent works have consisted of the use of cardboard to create 3D relief pieces. With the lack of studio space during the lockdown, I resulted to drawing net like patterns. I have also previously worked with textiles, from felt, to using a sewing machine to create images. Another medium I experimented with were light projections. This form was interesting as I never knew what kind of projection would come from the pieces I had made.
All of these forms of art have allowed me to experiment with pattern in different ways and formed a genuine intrigue within me that I wish to keep exploring.
